Trumpeter Peter Nater with the WP Latin Jazz Ensemble
Peter Nater is one of the most in-demand trumpeters on the Latin jazz scene today. He has been a member and Grammy Award winner with the numerous ensembles, including many legends: Harlem Jazz Orchestra, Chico O’Farrill’s Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra, Ray Sepulveda, the Mambo Legends, the Bronx Horns, the Machito Orchestra, Eddie Palmieri, Tito Puente, Ruben Blades, and Marc Anthony. This concert brings his high energy sound in collaboration with the William Paterson Latin Jazz Ensemble, led for over four decades by Chico Mendoza. Every concert by this ensemble is an exciting event, but this one promises to be a special one because of Peter Nater’s long collaborations with a virtual who’s-who of Latin Jazz.

Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended. There is an additional $5 charge PER TICKET if purchased at the box office on show day.
Each Jazz Room concert is preceded by a “Sittin’ In” meet-the-artist session one hour prior to performance in Shea Recital Hall. Free to all ticket holders. Audience members have a chance to meet and interact with that day’s artist in a question-answer format.
Additional discounts may be available by calling the Box Office.
There is a $4 per order fee for all sales not made in person at the Box Office.
Box Office hours are Monday and Friday 10 am - 2 pm, Tuesday through Thursday 10 am - 5 pm and one hour prior to the event.
There is a $5 per order fee for mailed or printed tickets held at Will-Call. E-Tickets/Print at Home tickets are included in the purchase price.
Discounts are limited to a maximum of 2 tickets. All additional tickets will be at the full public price.
