Join us for this spring’s Jazz Room finale, our celebration of the 50th year of William Paterson University’s historic Jazz Studies Program. One of the first five jazz degree programs in the nation at its inception, the program has gone on to establish itself as one of the world’s most prestigious places to study jazz. This concert will feature a tribute to the program’s leadership by retired Director of Jazz Studies Rufus Reid and present Director Bill Charlap; the WP Jazz Orchestra with special guests; and stellar alumni from the Jazz Studies Program
General Admission: Public $15 . William Paterson Community and Seniors $12 . Non-William Paterson Students $8
WP Students get 1 free ticket with valid ID card at the Box Office on show day.
Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended. There is an additional $5 charge PER TICKET if purchased at the box office on show day.
Each Jazz Room concert is preceded by a “Sittin’ In” meet-the-artist session one hour prior to performance in Shea Recital Hall. Free to all ticket holders. Audience members have a chance to meet and interact with that day’s artist in a question-answer format.
Additional discounts may be available by calling the Box Office.
There is a $4 per order fee for all sales not made in person at the Box Office.
Box Office hours are Monday and Friday 10 am - 2 pm, Tuesday through Thursday 10 am - 5 pm and one hour prior to the event.
There is a $5 per order fee for mailed or printed tickets held at Will-Call. E-Tickets/Print at Home tickets are included in the purchase price.
Discounts are limited to a maximum of 2 tickets. All additional tickets will be at the full public price.
All programs, artists, dates, policies, prices and times subject to change.

Lobby opens 60 minutes prior to event.
Late Seating is at the discretion of the management. Late Seating is not available for all events.
