The Jazz Room pays tribute to Clark Terry, the iconic trumpeter and educator, who would have turned 100 this December. An American icon, he is one of the true founders of jazz education and the first African American member of the NBC Tonight Show Band from 1960-70. An all-star gathering of Clark Terry alumni, trumpeter Jeremy Pelt and his WP faculty colleagues will perform some of Terry’s original compositions, music from his quintet with Bob Brookmeyer, and jazz and popular standards. WP is home to the William Paterson Clark Terry Archive.

There is a $4 per order fee for all sales not made in person at the Box Office by cash. All programs, artists, dates, policies, prices and times subject to change. Valid government photo ID required for all transactions. Late Seating is at the discretion of the management. Late Seating is not available for all events. Live Stream events will be available at the advertised showtime.
