× Grammy-winning pianist Bill Charlap’s five years as William Paterson’s jazz studies director have shown that he is an equal inspiration as a teacher and as a pianist. He is a veteran of long memberships in groups led by legendary saxophonists Phil Woods and Gerry Mulligan, and his trio of over twenty years is one of the leading jazz groups of jazz. His duo partner Jon Faddis is an equally major jazz figure, on the New York and national scene first as a studio musician, then as the lead trumpet with the Thad Jones-Mel Lewis Orchestra, as leader of the Carnegie Hall Jazz Orchestra, the Chicago Jazz Orchestra, and since the 1970s as a major solo artist mentored by and often associated with the iconic Dizzy Gillespie.

Admission: Advance sales - Public $15, William Paterson Community and Seniors $12, Students $8. WP Students get 1 free ticket on show day with valid ID card. Show day - All tickets are an additional $3 each on show day.

Additional discounts may be available by calling the Box Office. There is a $4 per order fee for all sales not made in person at the Box Office by cash.
