The Anderson Twins

The music of the extraordinary virtuoso woodwind players Peter and Will Anderson “consistently brings a fresh perspective to classic jazz” [Washington Post]. Born and raised in D.C., the Andersons moved to New York City to attend The Juilliard School.  Since then they have performed with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Wycliffe Gordon, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Paquito D’Rivera, Wynton Marsalis, Frank Vignola, and can be heard on the 2014 Grammy-winning soundtrack of HBO’s Boardwalk Empire with Vince Giordano’s Nighthawks. They have headlined at clubs, festivals, and on tour and have nine recordings as leaders under their belt. They bring a quintet that is bound to delight Summer Jazz Room fans!

Admission: Public-$10 per evening concert or $40 for a weeklong Jazz Pass. (Jazz Pass is on sale through Thursday July 11 by calling the Box Office. They are not available at the door). Seniors, WP Community & Non WP students-$10. WP Students may have 1 free ticket with valid ID on show night.

Additional discounts may be available by calling the Box Office. There is a $4 per order fee for all sales not made in person at the Box Office by cash. Discounts are limited to a maximum of 2 tickets. All additional tickets will be at the full public price. All programs, artists, dates, policies, prices and times subject to change.
