Saxophonist and National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master Jimmy Heath’s 50-year career has included every leading jazz musician, from Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis to Wynton Marsalis. A distinguished composer and arranger, his music has been in the repertoire of Clark Terry, James Moody, Chet Baker, Dexter Gordon, and numerous others. His regular quartet includes his brother and co-leader, drummer Albert “Tootie” Heath, pianist Jeb Patton, and bassist David Wong, and this year they will be joined by alto-saxophonist Antonio Hart. Don’t miss the William Paterson summer tradition.

Pre-show entertainment on the Shea Center Plaza at 6:15 pm (weather permitting) - The Candice Reyes Quintet

Admission: Public-$10 per evening concert or $40 for a weeklong Jazz Pass. (Jazz Pass is on sale through Thursday July 12 by calling the Box Office. They are not available at the door). Seniors, WP Community & Non WP students-$10. WP Students may have 1 free ticket with valid ID on show night.

Additional discounts may be available by calling the Box Office. There is a $4 per order fee for all sales not made in person at the Box Office by cash. Discounts are limited to a maximum of 2 tickets. All additional tickets will be at the full public price. All programs, artists, dates, policies, prices and times subject to change.
