The Angelica Sanchez Trio

Pianist and composer Angelica Sanchez “likes building structures and breaking free of them,” said Nate Chinen in The New York Times. Sanchez has performed and recorded as a leader, also working in collaboration with a plethora of jazz veterans. For this performance, Sanchez teams up with percussionist and composer Kevin Norton, who has recorded, performed, and composed for an eclectic array of artists and groups. The trio is completed by longtime WP jazz faculty member Steve LaSpina, a stalwart NYC area bassist and composer who has performed and recorded with many jazz legends.

Admission: Public-$10 per evening concert or $40 for a weeklong Jazz Pass. (Jazz Pass is on sale through Thursday July 12 by calling the Box Office. They are not available at the door). Seniors, WP Community & Non WP students-$10. WP Students may have 1 free ticket with valid ID on show night.
