Rez Abbasi is a vivid synthesis of his training in American jazz and classical and the tutelage of Indian master percussionist Ustad Alla Rakha (frequent accompanist of Ravi Shankar). Abbasi continues to push boundaries and sits at the forefront of jazz guitar. He appears, as part of the Shastra Festival which connects Indian and Western musical influences in a fascinating blend of styles.
Admission: Advance sales - Public $15, William Paterson Community and Seniors $12, Students $8. WP Students get 1 free ticket on show day with valid ID card. Show day - All tickets are an additional $3 each on show day.
Additional discounts may be available by calling the Box Office. There is a $4 per order fee for all sales not made in person at the Box Office by cash or personal check.
